You know what? Sometimes the simplest of meal ideas are often the most forgotten. Avocado on toast is great as an easy brunch, a satisfying something on one of those lazy days.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 slices of wholemeal bread
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 lemon
- sea salt and black pepper
METHOD
After slicing your bread, rub the top side with a clove of garlic, pop it under the grill and try not to forget about it.
Whilst your toast is grilling, prepare the avocado. Slice/chop/mash, its completely up to you! Experiment!
When the toast is done, load on the avocado. Sprinkle salt and pepper, and squeeze the juice of the lemon for a fresh, zesty kick!
Serve with a cup of coffee and an episode of something on Netflix.
