Move over Coconut water, there’s a new kid in town.
Maple water is exactly what it says on the carton, it’s water sourced directly from Maple trees. There’s no added sugar, no added chemicals – no added anything. It claims to be rich in vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, prebiotics and has more manganese than a cup of kale – all the good stuff! (We’re still not really sure what manganese is, but it MUST be good for us). Best of all it’s vegan and gluten free (all the best stuff is, isn’t it?).
But we know you’re wondering, what does it taste like? Well luckily for you, we’ve tried and tested DRINKmaple’s range so you can read all about it.
When we think of maple, we think of syrup, pancakes, and V Bite’s Meat-Free Maple Cured rashers (DRIBBLE). Well, maple water isn’t really any different. It’s as refreshing as your usual bog-standard glass of water, but it has a lovely subtle sweetness to it. It tastes like diluted maple syrup to be honest, but in a really great way. And anything that tastes like sweets, but is healthy for us, is a winner in our eyes.
DRINKmaple recommend having the water cool, not cold, as it would naturally come out of the tree. But we think it’d also be perfect at ice-cold temperature on a hot sunny day.
You should buy some DRINKmaple water here, because it’s ruddy tasty.
